HAPPY BIRTHDAY PEIZI AND SYAMEERA! :)

work was...tiring and busy!
total sales at the end of the day was 10.5k. =D
my vouchers nearly reached 1k eh! 990 worth of vouchers. -_- still can't beat Marcus! but my total sales beat his record. :P
i remember i had someone under me that day: Zaid. he helped me pack.
worked non-stop from the moment i opened my counter. so that means non-stop packing/scanning from 5-11pm.
SENSE OF SATISFACTION after i knew my total sales was 10.5k! ^^ didn't feel tired at all after that. =X first time i didn't leave my counter during my shift. tsktsk. =X

oh yeahhh! on that fateful day, i was scanning items as per normal, until ONE item.
was holding the bag containing this Promphet (omg. how to you spell the name of this fish? i forgot).
when i was trying to scan it, IT SUDDENLY MOVED/WIGGLED/WHATEVERYOUCANDESCRIBEDSUDDENMOVEMENTOFAFISH.
it scared the living daylights out of me can! (okay, not really daylights. it was at night. -_- but you get the drift)
i immediately JUMPED, dropped that bag of fish and stunned for a moment.
IN SHOCK! i mean, by the time i served this lady (including waiting time at my queue, which was LOOONG, getting other items etc.) the fish should have well, been DEAD/NOT MOVING.
BUT IT MOVED! so after a few seconds of shock, i tried to scan the barcode that was attached to this bag of fish, WHEN IT SUDDENLY MOVED AGAIN!
OMGGGGGG. even Zaid saw it okayyy! i wasn't imagining anything!
in the end, the lady whom i was serving, Zaid and I myself laughed....at myself. -_-
and from that moment onwards, whenever i see fishes in plastic bags waiting for me to scan, i would be damn scared. -_- and i would ask Zaid: "is this fish really dead?"
that Promphet is REALLY FRESH i tell you. -_-
i was still in shock even after 10-15 mins later. -_-
i'm really scared whenever fishes give this....wiggling movement when they're out of the water okayy! damn scary! cause i got a bad experience even before this incident. T_T

Eve of CNY, but i still had to work.
kinda cool! everyone evacuated within 10 mins.
and me and Yijin counted our cash and Media Declared at our counters! cause there isn't anyone in the store anyway. XD
first time! and i don't think we would be able to do Media Declare outside ever again, cause NTUC is 24 hours.
rare chance. XD
& it's kinda cool seeing the store empty, with half of the lights offed. :D
BUT!!!!
these two words :'Declaration Fault' that appeared on our declaration paper made two of us said 'shit' at the same time! LOL.
haha. you wouldn't understand if you weren't in our shoes. cause we don't wanna count money and queue up AGAIN in the cashier room, where the queue is like effin long. =X
but in the end i was short of 10 cents that's why there's a fault. -_-
lucky it wasn't more lahh. :)

hmmmm. oh yeahh. my last day of work is 30th Jan! it's supposed to be 1st Feb though, but i had to take 31st Jan and 1st Feb off cause i needa go visiting and stuff...so yeah.
kinda sadd thoughh. will definitely miss all my friends there. :(

okayy. nothing else more to mention i guess.

5pm-11pm todayy. kinda sucky timing cause it's the busiest timing to work.

ohhhh! and i think Anne, my supervisor really listened to my complain!
okay lah. not really complain. my grumbles. =x
cause that day when i saw her planning the next day's schedule, i saw her putting me at counter 30.
then i told her why do i always get those counters nearer to the grocery side (which is like those...damn busy counters) for the past few days and weeks.
and then she said "okay okay. weekends i put you at those counters that are nearer to the entrance okay? (like counters 5-15 area) [tsktsk. cause those counters are more slack during normal days]"
in the end you know why? CAUSE DURING THE WEEKENDS THOSE COUNTERS ARE ALSO DARN BUSYY!!
omg. i feel so blur at that time laa. i was happy for a few mins when Anne said that she agreed to put me at those counters, until when she said that during the weekends, those counters are also darn busy. sometimes even busier than counter 30 area.
BLUR ME!
and Ram and those few people there also laughed. -_-

-counter 30 is seriously a DEATH COUNTER, especially at night. luckily it's not a friday/sat night.
-ORANGE COUNTER IS FUNNNN. BANANAS. XD
-my arm seriously doesn't feel itself anymore after working at the death counter today.
-when i see a full trolley i feel scared.
-feels scared when she sees people buying cartons/bottles of drinks at my counter.
-i was praying that those full trolleys don't count to my counter after 12 midnight.
-PRAY THAT I GET COUNTER 34 TOMORROW PLEASE!!! I DONT MIND ORANGE COUNTER!
-i feel so EDUCATED today thanks to the guyss.
-i feel so innocent today!
-felt like i was escorted by 5 bodyguards after work when walking to pioneer mall.
-feels that working the same shift with those guys and Weiling is fun!
-500 dollars. -_-

kind people do exist. :o)
my schedule's packed but i seem to enjoy it although i'm tired. :o)
i've finally gotten my first pay! although it's only 1 week's pay. :o)
met up with girlfriends Kerker and Jojo today. :o)
visited colleagues during their shift today, and we walked around the store, chatting while they were putting back items. :o)

didn't you notice that Mr. Smiley has a nose?
HAHA! that's something random that came up when i was chatting to Weiling on MSN.

and working till 2 am tomorrowwww.

work today was seriously hectic.
the moment i opened my counter, customers just came into queue, until the shelves.
and my counter is like those 'behind' counters, with one counter in front of me, nearer to the shelves.
just looking at the queue, trolleys filled to the brim with the addition of baskets is seriously scary.
so busy today until all those team leaders, chief cashiers and MANAGERS all have to come out and help all the cashiers.
darn busy. =(
and i think my hand's gonna be worse after today's shift, although a put some handguard or something cause my arm hurts. =(
drinks, detergent, DYNAMO and SOFTLAN and rice! arghhh.
luckily have packers today, if not most of us seriously cant cope. =(

sales reached 8.6k today! WOOTS.
860 worth of vouchers (i remember this clearly cause i lost to Hasina by $5 worth of vouchers! LOL), chopped the paid stamp like tons of times. haha. =)
and NO DECLARATION FAULT! SENSE OF ACHIEVEMENT! ^^
but still lost to Marcus, a colleague of mine. 9k+ sales! but he started earlier than us la. =X
he had 1k+ worth of vouchers! WHATTHEHECK.

ohh yeahhh! I WAS SUPER PISSED TODAY!
this same incident happened today AGAIN.
remember i mentioned about one customer thinking that cashiers should have barcodes to ALL items in the store?
WHATTHEHECK. this man said the same thing again!
"shouldn't cashiers have barcodes to all items in the store like GIANT".
like he said, it's GIANT. hello. this is NTUC FAIRPRICE.
heck mannnnnnn. rahh. made my helper run to get the barcode. fine. it's okay.
in the end, he said he DIDN'T WANT THAT ITEM ANYMORE.

worked till 1am. haha! kinda fun. cause after 11, was asked to close my counter, and i was running around the store, putting back items, checking prices and the code, helped to be packer.

i'm so confused cause in the first place, my heart doesn't know what i want.
and nope. it's nothing to do with the affairs of the heart/relationships.

& i have some doubts cause i may be another route that i didn't really put much thought into before the release of results; but now i'm considering it after a call kind of convinced me.
some believe i can, while i myself have self-doubts.
cause at the end of the day, i'm scared i will screw up.
this fear/lack of confidence in my own calibre is hindering me from choosing that route.

let's just recap on what happened yesterday and today.
kinda lazy to think about what happened before that. =X
i only remembered i attended Poly open houses, visited the band and stuff, going out and not forgetting, work.

[11th Jan]
work was fine, except one customer!
when i was glancing at customers at my queue and saw this guy's face, i knew he would spoil my day- and he really did!
RAHH. damn pissed okay!
he called me STUPID.
WHATTHEEEE. how the heck am i supposed to know where to put your freaking cabbage into which bag when you didn't tell me clearly?
and when i asked him to double check, he said YA LAH. 笨.
i was like WHATTHEHECK CALL ME STUPID FOR WHAT and felt soooo pissed okay until i could seriously explode on the spot!!
luckily his wife apologized to me.
wanna rant to Weiling or something but in the end the queue was quite long, and her counter was busy. couldn't go to the toilet to rant. LOL.
and when it was after work already, i forgot about it.

went to have dinner/supper with colleagues after work.
RAM AND WEILING OWED ME A MEAL!
haha. funny story. i won a bet!
cause the 3 of us were betting which day O Level Results would be released: i said 12th, Weiling 15th, Ram 14th.
i know it's really stupid lah. but heck, who cares. HAHA!
AND I WON! LOL.
and before they officially announced it on the news, i was joking: saying that if either one of them won the bet, they would be treated Macdonald's 70 cents vanilla ice-cream cone!
LOL! in the end, they wanted to disturb me by saying that they would treat me 10 of those vanilla cones instead of a meal. hahahhaa. XD
but i still got a Happy Meal cause i requested for that. I GOT A FREE TOY! LOL. XD
meal time was funny. lazy with details. skip it ya. :)
went home, tv-ed until i doze off at around 3. woke up at 4, slept at 5.

[12th Jan-Today]
woke up and headed school at around 10 to help Mdm Khaw with stuffs.
went for lunch, headed back to school for results.
before that, i was damn nervous cause i heard that some teacher's face was quite gloomy and all that.
kinda freaked out. lol.
sms-ed Weiling cause i was kinda scared. and she told me someone in her school got 11 A1s and 4/5 people got 10A1s.
my first reaction: WHATTHEHECKKK?!?!?!?!?
and then i felt more nervous. -_-
had Happy Meal again. got another toy! LOL
i'm planning to collect most of them! HAHA. i know. kinda childish. but i don't really care. XD
sat in the hall. felt the tense atmosphere. the wait for the results was agonizing.
i can say i'm satisfied with my overall results, although kinda disappointed for certain subjects and had a pinch of regret. :)
called up parents, Mr Ang, friends and such.
haha. i called Weiling sucker! lol. cause she said the word 'suck' when she sms-ed me her results, when her results was totally GAY. -_-
all of us have different expectatons, so...yeah. i understand that. :)
feel happy for most of my friends who were happy with their results! :)
left school, headed to bubbletea shop, then accompanied Kerker and Jojo to Lot 1.
wanted to take Neoprints, but something that pissed us off happened. shan't elaborate.
then headed to JP to meet Olga, Liwen and Zijie.
watched PONYO! LOL.
ehhh. Ponyo's cute okayyy! and i love the movie OST! :)
then headed home. discussed with my parents about my results, courses and such.
seriously in a dilemma. JC/Poly. and if Poly, which course.
now i have a headache. x.x

awww. and today's the last day we're wearing school uniform!

yesterday (technically) [10th Jan] wasn't such a great day at work.
some people can't read/speak BASIC english.
which part of COUNTER CLOSED can he/she not read/understand? -_-
so pissed with customers! with other reasons too. especially one.
i was so pissed until i just couldn't help giving that face to her.
i mean, WTH?! totally crapppp.
does she think that cashiers have the barcodes to practically ALMOST ALL items in the store?
that would insanely crazy, wouldn't it?
doesn't mean that when the barcode HAPPENED to drop off, doesn't mean that cashiers SHOULD have the barcodes to these items.
i mean the chance for the barcode to drop off that particular item would be like, 1/100? and not many people buy them?
the tone when she said 'shouldn't you cashiers have the barcode' pissed me off real badly until i couldn't help but give her that face.
but just let it go uh. over already. no point bearing grudges.

YAYYY. gonna work the same shift with WEILING and KANGMENG!
woots! my two closest friends at my workplace. :)

rahhh. and i'm kinda tired. been going out before heading to work for the past few days.
10th Jan is the only day that i didn't go anywhere before work.
